Vintage Daystrom Green “Bamboo” Dinette Set
The table top is about 41″ – 42″ Round. You can insert an extra leaf to make it 17″ longer.
The set has 3 matching chairs.

The table is in good shape, except that in a few place the particle board under the “formica” swelled a little.
This dinette set was made by Daystrom Furniture in South Boston, Virginia.

At one time, they employed about 1,000 people. One year they made 1 million chairs and 160,000 tables. The factory closed in 1996. Sure, there is more than 1 reason why they closed, but a big reason is that you cannot pay employees a livable wage and at the same time be competing with Chinese imports where they paid people maybe $2/day and in some instances actually had slave labor.

The set includes 3 Chairs. They are in good condition. The seats are not torn. The finish is worn in different places.
The price of the Table and 3 chairs is $399.95
I have 3 more chairs, but they are all broken in the same place on the back of the chair. Everything else is good. Whoever buys the set can have these 3 chairs FREE, if you want them. I believe a skilled person could repair them to make a set of 6.
